La influencia de las relaciones interorganizacionales en el desempeño de las empresas hoteleras
evidencia desde destinos peruanos

El turismo es una actividad económica naturalmente compleja, en la que las organizaciones y empresas se relacionan entre sí. Desde la perspectiva de que las relaciones importan y que diferentes tipos de relaciones están disponibles para las empresas en un destino turístico, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre diferentes tipos de relaciones interorganizacionales en el desempeño de las empresas de hospedaje. Específicamente, se analizan las relaciones que establecen los establecimientos de hospedaje en tres destinos turísticos peruanos: Cusco, Arequipa y Trujillo. Los datos recopilados provienen de una fuente primaria y se analizaron utilizando la técnica de Análisis de Ecuaciones Estructurales. Los resultados indican que solo las relaciones verticales influyen en el desempeño de las empresas, reforzando el papel de la complementariedad. Aunque no influyen directamente en el desempeño, los resultados muestran que las organizaciones de apoyo juegan un papel relevante para estimular el desarrollo de relaciones verticales y horizontales.
