Metodologías Activas en la Educación Superior de Turismo y Hotelería
Una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura

La Educación Superior en Turismo y Hotelería ha experimentado cambios significativos como resultado de las transformaciones tecnológicas y las nuevas exigencias del sector. En este escenario, las metodologías activas surgen como estrategias pedagógicas eficaces que favorecen el protagonismo del estudiante y la integración entre teoría y práctica. Esta revisión sistemática de la literatura tuvo como objetivo investigar e identificar las metodologías activas aplicadas a la educación superior en las áreas de Turismo y/o Hotelería, considerando publicaciones académicas de los últimos cinco años. Las aproximaciones más recurrentes destacan los principales desafíos enfrentados por los docentes y las adaptaciones curriculares necesarias para su implementación efectiva. La investigación se desarrolló siguiendo el protocolo PRISMA 2020, con la recolección de datos realizada en las bases ERIC y Web of Science. Tras aplicar los criterios de filtrado, se seleccionaron 45 artículos, los cuales fueron posteriormente analizados mediante un enfoque de análisis temático. Los resultados indican que la gamificación fue la metodología más frecuente, seguida del aprendizaje basado en proyectos (ABP), el aprendizaje experiencial y la clase invertida. Los estudios evidenciaron la necesidad de reformulaciones curriculares centradas en la flexibilidad, las competencias socioemocionales y la formación continua del profesorado. Esta revisión ofrece contribuciones relevantes para la comprensión y el perfeccionamiento de las prácticas pedagógicas en la educación superior en Turismo y Hotelería.
