Education and tourism: reflections for "touristic education"

This article aims to conceptualize touristic education, based on tourism education journals. Most of them are directed to Higher Education, so this article will focus on Basic Education identifying tourism as new field of knowledge. Touristic education relevance as a key element for tourism development in tourist cities or potential ones will be addressed.
