The study of competitiveness has been driven from new contexts, such as the competitiveness of tourist destinations, which has caused significant changes in terms of knowledge production, mixing areas and providing a multidisciplinary reflection. This article aims to analyze the link between urban planning and competitiveness of tourist destinations, two concepts that directly reflect the development of cities. The methodology used was a literature review, analyzing models of competitiveness and identifying the link of urban planning in the development of competitiveness. The research confirms the direct link of urban planning in four of the six models analyzed.Downloads
